Juma Tutu Videos
Undugu
A short musical which serves as videoclip of Juma Tutu’s song ‘Undugu’ (Brotherhood). The song is about that ‘real brotherhood’ is not necessarily to be found with the brothers you are born with, but that sometimes one might have to go out into the world to find ‘real brotherhood’. The video was produced as part of the ‘Spotlight on Kenyan Music’ series. The production of the video was done by SasaHivi Media and the story was written, directed and edited by the multimedia artist RxAxLxF. The main character in the video is played by actress and dancer Neema Bagamuhunda. To break the common clichee that brotherhood is a male-only thing, RxAxLxF decided to write a story based on a female in an African setting.
